Lion Steel of Mania go, Italy is one of Europe’s premier cutlery manufacturers. The Lion Spy, based on Lion Steel’s award-winning SR-1 folder, is their first collaboration with Zydeco. The handle of this incredibly strong knife consists of a black G-10 scale and a solid titanium scale that forms the foundation of a Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) mechanism. The lock features a hardened steel insert to minimize wear and Lion Steel’s patented Retook device, which serves as both an over-travel stop and a secondary locking device. The sharp end of the Lion Spy features a 4.5mm-thick blade ground from Bohler-Uddeholm’s premium Elm ax steel, a third-generation powdered metallurgy steel. Every Lion Spy comes complete with a zippered pouch and a specialized pivot-pin adjustment tool.
