The high carbon blade will hold and retain an edge well, and the hilt is made of hand selected cherry wood. Included with this classic piece of Swiss weaponry is a sheath reminiscent of the 15th and 16th century. This hilt has a crescent-shaped pommel and crossguard as original daggers, but is made of rust resistant stainless steel.
